1. Who we are
Ink Tribute ("we", "us") is a webshop based in Essen, Belgium. We create personalised ink-style artworks from photographs supplied by our customers, delivered as a digital file or printed on canvas. You can reach us at info@inktribute.com.
2. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed through inktribute.com. By completing an order you accept these terms. We may update them; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
3. The product
Your artwork is generated digitally from the photo you provide, in the style, background and orientation you select. What you see in the free preview is representative of the artwork you will receive; small differences in colour and detail may occur between screens and printed canvas.
4. Your photo and your rights
- You confirm that you own the photo you upload, or that you have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
- Your original photo is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to us. Only the finished artwork is transmitted when you place an order.
- You keep all rights to your photo. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use the artwork we deliver. We do not use your artwork for promotion without your explicit consent.
- We may refuse or cancel an order for content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euro or US dollar, including VAT where applicable, and include worldwide shipping for canvas prints. The exact total is displayed before you confirm. Payment is handled by our payment provider Mollie; we never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received.
6. Delivery
Digital files are available immediately after payment, through a download link that also arrives by email and remains valid for 14 days. Canvas prints are produced by our print partners: we do our utmost to send your order out the same day, and delivery typically takes about five days, depending on your location. These are indicative timeframes, not guarantees.
7. Right of withdrawal
Products made to your personal specifications — which includes every Ink Tribute artwork and canvas — are exempt from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, because they are customised for you.
For digital downloads: by starting the download you agree to immediate delivery and expressly waive the right of withdrawal.
This does not affect your legal rights in the event of a defective product (see below).
8. Defects, damage and complaints
If your file is technically unusable, or your canvas arrives damaged or with a printing defect, contact us within 14 days of receipt at info@inktribute.com, with a photo of the problem where relevant. We will repair, reprint or refund the item. Statutory warranty rights for consumers remain fully applicable.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our own fault, up to the amount you paid for the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, nor for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
10. Privacy
We process only the data needed to fulfil your order: your email address, and for canvas orders your delivery address and any note you add. Artwork files are stored privately and deleted 14 days after your order. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, other than the partners needed to deliver your order (payment provider, print partner, carrier). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at info@inktribute.com.
11. Applicable law
Belgian law applies. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Belgium. As a consumer in the EU you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
